It's an increasingly common theme, many owners want to go to a beach in Mahón with their dog, and the municipal ordinance truncates their spirit.

Coming soon, two new dog-friendly beaches in Mahón
The insular political class is open to having more beaches to go with your dog or pet in Mahón.
The problem comes with the tourist season, with a law from 2008. From April to October, dogs are only allowed on the beaches from 8:30 p.m. to 10 a.m. That's a problem for residents with limited leisure time with their pets.
The two new beaches would be:
- Cala Teulera, in the Port of Mahón
- Biniparratx, in the south of Mahón
The law is still not approved. But it seems it could be confirmed for next summer, 2023.
