Cala Viola de Llevant is a sheltered place from the north, south, and west winds. It is a perfect spot for those who want peace and relaxation with diving opportunities.
To get to Cala Viola de Llevant, head first to the Camí de Tramontana, a small paved road giving the access to the isolated beaches in the north of Menorca. After the take, the turn towards Cavallería Beach and go towards the lighthouse but not to the end of the road. The parking area is located halfway along the road on the right-hand side.
You can easily spot the cliffs—are you afraid of them? Do not worry, as you can find a skinny path down to the cove. However, those with kids or people with reduced mobility are advised not to use this route, as the descent can be a bit problematic.
This whole area is a part of the Northern Marine Reserve which means that fishing is not allowed which leads to an abundance of marine life.
